Our little family's time with Eric was far too short and mostly was focused on our mutual love for our dogs... Anyone who treats their pup like a member of their family is someone that "gets" me and my husband. Eric "got" us. When I think of Eric I will always think of his girl Emma beyond thrilled and full of love running to her daddy, jumping and going through his legs (good thing for the height!). At Christmas in the middle of his battle- Eric made a point to work with Kristin to make sure my families 3 pups received a gift. 3 ornaments for our tree with each dogs name. When Kristin came by with the gifts she told me that Eric was so excited to give these to our girls... It's the little things like that, that make a big guy even bigger in my eyes. I wish I had more stories to tell- but this one I will cherish forever and every year at Christmas when we hang those ornaments, we'll be thinking of Eric.
